Landscaping
This course prepares students to plan landscape designs, including the selection, installation, and the maintenance of landscape plants. Students will also learn the names of various landscaping plants. Class members will maintain different landscape areas around the school during class time. There will also be focus on creating designs using scales and other hand-drawing tools and design software, and processes and products used in designing, constructing, and managing landscapes
Students will conduct a job shadow experience in a career related to this class during the semester. Classroom and laboratory activities are supplemented through supervised agricultural experiences, and FFA leadership programs and activities.
