Norris Elementary School is an AdvancED accredited and includes grades pre­school through two. Teams of teachers are responsible for the reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, science, and social studies program at each grade level. In addition, students receive instruction in art, music, physical education, and use of computers and other technology. Norris Elementary School has a Title I program in reading and mathematics, a special education program, and a opportunities for high ability learners. The elementary building sits on the same 160 acre site as the intermediate school, middle school, and high school. Approximately 600 students attend Norris Elementary. The elementary building includes a music room, art room, media center, computer laboratory, gymnasium, and multipurpose room. Norris Elementary is a nationally recognized by winning a Healthier Schools Program award from The Alliance For A Healthier Generation and is a Fuel Up To Play 60 partner with Midwest Dairy.
