Thought for the Day

Positive Affirmations - do you use them? Creating and reciting affirmations is a powerful way to use words in a positive way!  Who talks to you the most?  YOU!!  Start by telling yourself positive affirmations!  Affirmations are statements that you say to yourself in order to help you reach your goals.

  • I become more positive each day.
  • I am happy, confident, and see the best in others.
  • I am positive and I want positive people in my life.

You can use affirmations that reinforce your power of positive thinking towards a specific goal in your life.

  • I have all the qualities I need to be a successful student.
  • I am going to try my best to earn the best grades I can this quarter.
  • I am going to turn my assignments in on time.
  • Every day I move closer to my goal of ……(fill in the blank.).

Just remember…. to keep the language positive and leave out negative words or criticism. Give positive affirmations a try!
