Ryan, MJ; The Happiness Makeover, 2005

For Example:

Your grandpa is not doing very well and your parents have told you he might not have much longer to live.  You spend a lot of time with your grandpa during the summer and enjoy the fun things you get to do together outside.  You decide to spend as much time with him as you can after school and on the weekends.  You choose to make more happy memories with your grandpa in the face of grief…..without denying or trying not to think about your pain and sorrow that he may soon die.  You are making a choice to increase not only your well-being but that of your grandpa.

You aren’t meant to be happy all the time - but are you courageous enough to feel as happy as you can?
