Crochet Club 4th quarter project- Macrame plant hanger

Starting in the 4th quarter, the crochet club will be making macrame plant hangers. This can be done with many types of string or yarn, so you don’t have to use the recommended material if they are unavailable to you. We will begin March 16th. This is a great project for Mother’s Day!

Materials:

  1. Macrame cord (3mm or 4 mm) or cotton yarn (it shouldn’t stretch too much or plants will slip through) plan for using at least 4-5 m’ of cord since the knots will use up most of the cord. Here is one option at Michaels

  2. Macrame ring- I will have wooden rings available on first come first serve basis, otherwise this is an optional piece

  3. Optional accessories: wooden or plastic beads (make sure the hole is large enough to fit the cord or yarn

Ukulele Club members performing CUPS, we will practice next week before school and during WIN in the library.  Please bring your Ukulele’s to school so we can practice.

Flags during lunch.  Get your food first lunch then come down to the library
