MS ACTIVITIES:

  • 7th grade football vs Crete.  A rainy cold WIN against Crete 12-0

 

  • 8th grade football vs Crete, a tough loss 0-28

 

  • NMS Lady Titans dominated in both 7th-grade matches last night against Bennington South!

    A team - 25-18, 25-18

    B team - 25-15, 25-5

 

  • 8th grade volleyball results vs Bennington

    A-Team wins 2-0 (25-23, 25-14)

    B-Team wins 2-1 (25-20, 21-25, 15-13)

 

Girls Wrestling meeting on Thursday, October 9, from 8:10 am to 8:25 am, in Mr. Johnson’s room!!

 

There will be a Boys' Basketball meeting for all 7th and 8th-grade Boys interested in playing basketball this season on Thursday, October 9, from 8:10 am to 8:25 am, in the Middle School Gym. 

Players who just want to play intramurals are welcome to do this without trying out for the team. Email Mr. Rice or stop by his office, letting him know your interest in playing. 

 

Inaugural NMS Quiz Bowl Meeting — Tuesday, October 14, 2025

Location: Mr. Korinek’s Room: #303 in the Purple Hallway

Quiz Bowl is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders! Whether you love math, reading, history, science, or just know a little bit about everything, this team is for you. We’re looking for curious, quick-thinking students who enjoy learning across all subjects! Meetings will be held every Tuesday! Reach out to Mr. K with any questions!

 

 

Dungeons & Dragons Club — First Meeting: Monday, October 20, 2025

Calling all adventurers! The Dungeons & Dragons Club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders—whether you’ve played before or are curious to learn. Creating a character is part of joining, so bring your ideas. We’ll meet in Room 303 in the Purple Hallway. After the first meeting, the club will usually meet on Thursdays. Come ready to explore, imagine, and roll some dice! Reach out to Mr. K with any questions! 

 

 

 

Norris Student Council hosts PINK OUT ~ Friday, October 10, 2025

We hope you join us on Friday, October 10th and wear your PINK. At Norris, we use the color pink, the color representing breast cancer. We also recognize and honor those affected by all other types of cancer.

 

 

 

 

We are looking for the next cover to our NMS Yearbook! If you like to draw or are great at graphic design, stop by the Library or check in with Cullison about how to create a cover for our 25-26 Yearbook! Our theme is Blast to the Past. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Enrollment is OPEN for the Eastern Seaboard Trip in June, 2027! We’ve already filled up our first bus and opened a second! To enroll on the trip, go to bit.ly/easternsea27  Parents can enroll too!
