Any Senior wishing to participate in the National Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony, please see Dr. Stine. The date is April 15 at 7:45 a.m. in the Auditorium.  

 

The library will be making a Book Page Floral Arrangement on Monday, April 13th from after

school to 5 pm.  This is a free event!  Stop by the library for more info and to sign up!  We hope that you can join us!

 

Dance Team Try-outs:   If you are interested in participating on the dance team -  try-outs will be held on Saturday, April 11.  Pick up an information packet in the high school office.

 

BLOOD DRIVE APRIL 8!

When: Wednesday, April 8, 11:00am-4:00pm

Where: Blood Mobile on East side of HS

Who:  anyone 16 years old and older   

  • Seniors, qualify for a NCBB scholarship when you donate.  
    • Can also qualify for honor cords from NCBB to wear with your graduation regalia *can't wear during ceremony*
  • Donating counts as 2 hours of Community Service each time. 
  • EVERYONE gets snacks!

  • All Norris students must have a parent permission form on file (only need to do this once).
  • Additionally, an NCBB parent permission form is required at each drive for 16 year old donors.

SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY:

Looking for a summer job?  NATS Detasseling is looking for positive workers aged 13 and up. Applications open up March 1st at www.notafraidtosweat.com. Detasseling is a great way to develop leadership skills and build a resume that will attract future employers and colleges. Scholarship Opportunity:

Seniors living in Lancaster County who have worked for NATS Detasseling are eligible to apply for a $1,000 or $2,000 College Scholarship from the Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA) Foundation to go towards trade school or post-secondary school in the state of Nebraska.
