TODAY’S ACTIVITIES:
Slam Poetry - 3:30 in Room S4
Girls Subdistrict Basketball - HOME - Norris vs. Plattsmouth - 6:00
High School students will receive free admission by showing their ID and entering at the main admission table. This will be for both the Semi-Final and District Final Games.
District Games at Norris:
Thursday, Feb. 26 - Boys Subdistrict - 6:00
Saturday, Feb. 27 - Girls District Final - 2:00
Monday, Mar. 2 - Boys District Final - 7:00
Come join us for an evening of creative painting in the Library on Monday, March 2! It will be right after school until 5 pm. We will be decorating bookends and book pages that you can leave for Library use or take home! This is a free event! Stop by the library to sign up!
Girls on the Run - We've had a great tradition of GOTR teams at Norris for years! Quick turnaround, but this season we'd like to round out the coach ranks with one or two positive-minded high school girls, if possible. Our Junior Coach program is for girls aged 16 to 18. The little girls LOVE the high schoolers, and it gives the high schoolers a chance to foster some leadership skills. It looks great on college and scholarship applications.If you are a high school girl who is not doing a spring sport but would be great role models for elementary girls, please see this link.
