2024 Tornado
On May 22, 2004, the F-4 Hallam tornado decimated the Norris School District campus. That summer, the campus sites, including the High School, Elementary School, bus barn, athletic fields, and auditorium, were rebuilt and renovated. The current Middle School had passed a bond, and construction started that summer as well. The Middle School was completed and opened for the 2006-2007 school year.
