Norris High School is a Class B, NCA accredited school of over 600 students in grades nine through twelve. Norris High School operates a modified, alternating block schedule with an intensive academic assistance period. Curriculum departments include English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, World Language, Industrial Technology, Family and Consumer Science, Business, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Art, Agriculture, Careers Exploration, Special Education, etc. Norris High School offers advanced placement and college credit classes in various subject areas through partnership agreements with Southeast Community College and Nebraska Wesleyan University. In addition, Norris High School includes an extensive co- and extra-curricular program. Norris High School won the state championship in boys’ golf (spring, 2012), the Sportsmanship Award (girls’ state basketball, 2012), and earned state runner-up distinction in boys’ baseball (spring, 2012). Norris High School is a nationally recognized Healthier Schools Program award winning school from The Alliance For A Healthier Generation and a Fuel Up To Play 60 partner with Midwest Dairy.
