This class provides students with an understanding of various mechanical systems. The course teaches mechatronics through a series of lessons, classroom activities, and hands-on labs. The curriculum includes an introduction to mechatronics systems, including pneumatics(air) and mechanical systems, and builds on electrical principles.  Activities include designing blueprints, then building mechanical & electrical systems from those blueprints.  Students interested in electrical engineering or mechanics are encouraged to take this class. Safety glasses are required and may be purchased from the Skilled and Technical Sciences Department.
