Growing up in Fairbury with both parents as educators, teaching is really all I’ve ever known. When making my decision at UNL on where to student teach, I chose to venture down to Houston, Texas, ultimately getting an experience that could not be matched in Nebraska. I stayed there for 2 more years, teaching geometry and coaching football and baseball at Alief Hastings High School, enrollment just shy of 5000 students.
After meeting my wife Lyndsey in Houston (also from Nebraska) we decided to move back home, bought a house in Hickman, and commuted to Lincoln Northeast High School, where I taught math and coached boys and girls golf and girls basketball for 5 years.
This is my 6th year at Norris and I will be teaching Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus, while also coaching girls basketball.
Lyndsey and I have 3 kids, Cayden (9) who is in 4th Grade, Marlene (7) who is in 2nd Grade, and Mabel (6) in 1st Grade.
