Growing up in Fairbury with both parents as educators, teaching is really all I’ve ever known.  When making my decision at UNL on where to student teach, I chose to venture down to Houston, Texas, ultimately getting an experience that could not be matched in Nebraska.  I stayed there for 2 more years, teaching geometry and coaching football and baseball at Alief Hastings High School, enrollment just shy of 5000 students.

After meeting my wife Lyndsey in Houston (also from Nebraska) we decided to move back home, bought a house in Hickman, and commuted to Lincoln Northeast High School, where I taught math and coached boys and girls golf and girls basketball for the past 5 years.

This is my 3rd year at Norris and I will be teaching Pre-Calculus, while also coaching football and girls basketball.

Lyndsey and I have 3 kids, Cayden (6) who is in 1st Grade, Marlene (4) who is in afternoon pre-school, and Mabel (3) in morning pre-school.
