Hi there, I'm Mrs. DeBoer!

I was born and raised in Firth, Nebraska, and attended Norris from kindergarten through graduation. I grew up on an acreage with two little sisters, a loving and hardworking mother, a wonderful father who runs his own business, and plenty of animals. I now live near Norris with my husband of three years (also from Norris), who is a farmer, a fireman, and a Nebraska Army National Guard helicopter mechanic. In my spare time, I love baking sugar cookies, painting, being outdoors, and spending time with my family!

In 2018, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education. The 2018-2019 school year will be my first year teaching, and I am so thrilled to join the Norris family once again, this time as a professional. The Norris School District played an integral role in my life and shaped me into the life-long learner I am today, and I cannot wait to be a part of that impact on future students!

If you have any questions about me or my role as the 2nd grade resource teacher, please don't hesitate to contact me! I look forward to meeting many of the smiling faces in the Norris community!
