Norris -  0  1  = 1Gretna -   1  2  = 3Gretna took advantage of a sluggish start for the Lady Titans.  With just 5 minutes off the clock, Gretna would score first on a cross from midfielder Brooke Wagner to Megan Kruse.  The Titans played defensively to halftime while the Dragons out shot them 13-3. In the second half of play, the clouds started rolling in with a storm on the horizon.  In the 55th minute, Gretna struck again with a hard shot in the penalty box by Gretna's forward, Jordan Wollenberg.  "We thought Ashley had the ball secured!  It was a great stop and then it went through her hands right by the goal post, even then it didn't look like it had crossed the goal line," said coach Myers. The Dragons would score one more time in the 64th minute when Kruse would score one more time off a cross as the Titan defensive line got beat.  Still determined, the Titans moved up the field and when Samantha Areman got the ball on her feet, she dribbled to goal from 40 yards out to score the Titans only goal of the match.  The Titans were out shot 2-16 in the second half.The Titans drop to 10-4 on the season and are still in the wild card hunt.  They are seeded number one in their district and will take on the winner of the Nebraska City and Beatrice match on Tuesday, May 4th at 5:00 p.m. at Norris.
