Norris TeamMates kicked off the year with a “TeamMates are Cool Ice Cream Social” held in the Intermediate school lunch room. Over 80 mentors, mentee, board members and family members enjoyed ice cream with all of the toppings including bananas. Norris TeamMates is beginning its 12th year of working with students at Norris.  TeamMates begins the year with 58 matches in grades 4-12 which includes 7 seniors.

TeamMates Mentoring Program is working with over eight thousand students across Nebraska and neighboring states.   TeamMates is a school based one to one mentoring program that provides support and encouragement to school-aged youth.  Norris is always looking for new mentors to make a difference for one child.
