Norris Girls lose to Seward Norris Lady Titans hosted Seward Saturday night in girls’ basketball.  Seward was able to hit their free throws down the stretch to secure the win 43-39.  Norris battled throughout the game and had some chances but just couldn’t get the lead late in the game.            In the first quarter both teams played well and the lead went back and forth.  Norris outscored Seward to take a 10-9 lead into the second quarter.  Norris extended their lead to four points through the quarter, but Seward finished the half with a 6-1 run and took a 20-19 lead into half time.  In the third quarter Seward extended their lead as Norris was not able to find the range offensively and led 30-25 going into the final quarter.  However, Norris would not go down without a fight and came out in the fourth quarter and played hard.  Norris out scored Seward in the final quarter 14 - 13, but it was not enough to overcome Seward’s lead. Norris Scoring:            Sam Areman 9, Ashley Schroeder 9, Tori Simpson 6, Jessica Taylor 4,                                    Alix Bryant 3, Alex Mathers 3, Felicia Tekolste 3, Bridget Bucher 2Rebounds:                   Tekolste 6, Schroeder 6, Mathers 4, Taylor 4, Areman 3, Simpson 3,            Bucher 3, Bryant 2Steals:                          Areman 2, Bryant 1, Mathers 1, Schroeder 1, Simpson 1Assists:                        Tekloste 2
