Norris District to Celebrate 50th with Open House June 28th

Friday, June 6, 2014

The Norris District is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a campus-wide Open House on Saturday, June 28th featuring a free hot dog lunch and displays. Hotdogs will be served up to visitors in the High School multipurpose room (cafeteria) from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. The public are invited to drop in and visit the Open House from 11 AM - 2 PM that day.

Displays will include a “Time Capsule” historical display from Kelleen Eigsti that was assembled by a team of current Norris Titans students, as well as a memorabilia display put together by longtime Norris teacher “Mr. Math Man” Tom Price.  Norris baseball and the FFA chapter will also have displays featuring their program and historic mementoes.

Information will be available from Norris programs including the Titans Facilities Fund, Norris Educational Foundation, and Norris Teammates mentoring group. The Foundation is offering some Titans giveaways to include coasters and flash drives for lucky attendees.

Come on out on Saturday, June 28th or stop by after parking in the south lot and participating in Prairieland Dairy Days, also occurring June 28th (with buses leaving the south lot for dairy tours on that date).
