The Norris Middle School Quiz Bowl team competed at the NAMI Quiz Bowl in Seward on November 8, 2017. Over 35 schools were represented and a total of 50 teams competed in the event. Both Norris teams survived the elimination rounds in the morning  and advanced on to Tournament competition in the afternoon. During the tournament competition the Norris B team lost in the first round while the A team made it to the quarterfinals. Both teams had close matches and competed very well against some very tough competition.  

Norris A: Elizabeth Rohrer, Anna Rohrer, Macy Westover, Gionna Weber, and Heather Reinsche.

Norris B: Mason Severson, Grayson Palermo, Emma Stacy, Cooper Bice, Breena Potter, and Autumn Weaver.
