The Lincoln Public Schools hosted their annual JV  Track and Field Invitational on Tuesday, April 10th with 11 schools taking part in the competition.  Below are the team results, followed by the Lady Titan individual results.1st NORRIS 114, 2nd Pius X 62, 3rd Lincoln Southwest 61, North Star and Ralston tied for 4th with 48 pts., and Southeast and East tied for 6th with 46 pts., 8th Fremont 42, 9th  Lincoln Northeast 29, 10th Grand Island 18, and 11th Lincoln High with 3 pts. Each event was allowed four individuals in competition:Long Jump:  6th Taylor Tebo (PR) 14'2.5", Maddie Gabel 14'.75", Hannah Olsen 13'6.5", and Ashlyn Hoegh 13'5.75"Triple Jump:  1st Jasey Hartman 32'9", Janelle Adams 28'9.5"High Jump:  1st Shay Brown 5'3", 6th Ashlyn Hoegh 4'6", Victoria Hovis 4'0", and Micaila Helmink 3'10"Shot:  5th Rebecca VanderPutten 30'3", Maddie Gloe 28'8.5", Maddie Behrends 26'1", and Sydni Ziemke 23'7"Discus:  4th Rebecca VanderPutten 85'10 (PR),Maddie Glow 76'3", Victoria Hovis 65'4" (PR), and Maddie Behrends 57'8"Pole Vault:  6th Katie Trapp 6'10" (PR), Melissa Trapp 6'4", and Hannah Wolzen NH3200m Relay:  1st 11:10.12  Melissa Trapp, Katie Trapp, Ashlyn Hoegh, and Amber Weyers100mHH:  5th Payton Ruhl 18.7, Jordan Wardy 20.8, Maddie Gabel 21.6, and Avery Husle 23.1100mDash:  1st Jasey Hartman 13.6, 3rd Hannah Olsen 13.9, 6th Janelle Adams 13.98, Ashley Florer 15.41600m Run:  3re Katie Trapp 6:11.8400mRelay:  3rd 56.7  Hannah Olsen, Taylor Tebo, Maddie Gabel, and Janelle Adams400m Dash:  3rd Hannah Wolzen 1:08.1, Taylor Tebo 1:14.6, and Micaila Helmink 14:14.9300mLH:  2nd Payton Ruhl 52.7, Maddie Gabel 57.1, Jordan Wardy 58.2. and Aleida Oerter 1:01.1800m Run:  2nd 2.41.2  Melissa Trapp, 5th Amber Weyers 2:44.5200m Dash:  1st Jasey Hartman 28.3, 5th Janelle Adams 28.94, Micaila Helmink 32.0, and Ashley Florer 32.31600m Relay:  2nd 4:34.1  Jasey Hartman, Melissa Trapp, Payton Ruhl, and Hannah WolzenIt was a very big meet with lots of athletes from all of the schools participating.  There were almost 40 competitors in the long jump, discus, and shot, with over 20 in many of the other field events, and many of the running events had 4-5 heats.It was not easy to know how everyone was actually placing in the final scheme of the competition until it was completely over.  We were very pleased to find out that we had won the meet, I don't think that anyone was actually keeping track of the team places until they made the announcement at the end.  It was great to have that happen, but the best thing was to have the girls do so well in their events, time wise and in jumping and throwing.Jasey Hartman had a very good day, bringing home 3- 1st place finishes in her four events.  Rebecca VanderPutten did a good job in the throws, placing in both of her events.  Katie Trapp had her PR in the vault, going 6'10" and also running one of her best times in the 1600m Run.  The coaches were very pleased with the final results of the girl's competition.           200
