Our middle distance runner, Amber Weyers, found out that she could run a pretty good 100m time after she was thrown into the 4x100 at the last minute.  Foresaking any last minute hand-off practice,  we were happy that she filled in and that we could run the race.Sophomore Ellie Ehmen had a really good day, she had a PR in the long jump, going a foot further then she had up to that day.  She also placed in all four events that she competed.  Also, teammate Hannah Blythe  had a great day on the track and in the vault.  She also placed in all 4 events and made her vaulting debut, reaching a successful height of 7'4".Freshmen Becca VanderPutten had a personal record in the shot, along with Andrea Jameson who also had a PR in the triple jump.The following girls also placed in all of the events in which they competed:  Andrea Jameson, Dani Pelini, Amber Weyers, and Tracy Makenna.This meet also allows us to have girls compete with others of their own caliber of experience, and also to try a new event if they want to see what they can do.  If is also nice to go against athletes from other schools that we typically do not see at any other meets
