Norris:    1     3       =    4Neb City:   0    0    =    0  After opening the season with losses against Gretna, Seward, and Elkhorn South, the lady Titan soccer team was hoping to get their first win of the season.  In their second home game of the season, the Titans got the job done defeating Nebraska City 4-0.  In the junior varstiy match, the lady Titans were victorious, defeating the Pioneers 10-0.In the first half of play, the Titans got on the board when junior Brittany Funk hit a solid shot from the top of the box.  The Titans went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.   The Titans outshot the Pioneers 16-0 in the first half of play.In the second half, senior Lauren Egger scored just 43 seconds in to the half on a rebound from a hard post shot by senior Kayla German.  "We stress framing the goal whenever there's a shot, and Lauren did that beautifully and was rewarded with a goal," said Coach Myers.  Just 7 minutes later, sophomore Jordan Patt crossed a ball in front of goal that senior Macy Dauber got her head on for the Titans' third goal of the match.In the 72nd minute, Brittany Funk, drove into the box and got by Nebraska City's goal keeper to score the 4th and final goal of the evening.  The Titans improve to 1-3 on the season.  They will take on Elkhorn and Lincoln Pius X later in the week.
