However, we did have quite a few personal records today and it was nice to go up against the schools in our Districts to see what the competition is going to be like.Senior Gretchen Kroese finished first in the 100m HH and did her best of the season so far, she also broke the 50 second barrier in the 300m LH today, a goal that she was hoping to accomplish today. Freshmen Kelly DeBoer ran in the open 400m Dash and finished 7th, we wanted to see what kind of time she could post in that event. We were excited about her time, but feel that she can continue to bring that time down enough to get a place in that event. Our 3200m relay team ran a good race today, while not accomplishing a PR they did run well enough to take a second place behind a tough Seward team. The girls will be competing next week at the Willis Jones Invitational at Beatrice on Tuesday, and on Friday they will be traveling to Crete for their invitational. Following those two meets Norris will host the EMC meet on Thursday, May 5th.
