Intermediate students exceed goal for "Jump Rope for Heart"

Intermediate students exceed goal for "Jump Rope for Heart"

Friday, April 21, 2017

This year, Norris Intermediate students again took part in the American Heart Association's, "Jump Rope for Heart."  The school goal was set at $10,000, and students far exceeded this expectation by raising over $15,600.  Students received prizes for raising certain amounts of money, and awards were given out for the top jumpers in each grade level.  One of these prizes included teaching P.E. with Mr. Bartholomew!  The theme for this year's JRFH was a zoo theme.  Therefore, since students met the goal, both Mr. Bartholomew and Mrs. Morrison rewarded students by kissing animals at the JRFH assembly.  Congratulations to our Norris Intermediate students on saving many lives with their fundraising efforts!
