Intermediate School smashes Jump Rope for Heart goal, raises over $15,000
The totals are in! This year, Norris Intermediate School, once again participated in the, American Heart Association’s, “Jump Rope for Heart.” Students chose this year’s fundraising goal of $10,000. The students smashed their goal by raising over $15,000!! Thanks to Mrs. Wesch for organizing this year’s event, as well as the staff and parents who volunteered their time to make this possible! Students jump roped in their PE classes in order to win a chance to be PE teacher for the day. These are the results by grade:
3rd Grade
3rd place: Kyra Hinrichs 185 jump points
2nd place: Brayden Spilker 239 jump points
1st place - winner of teacher for a day - Isabelle Glause 548 jump points
4th Grade
3rd place: Rylie Slaymaker 312 jump points
2nd place: Gabriela Weber 321 jump points
1st place - winner of teacher for a day - Addi Tidball 495 jump points
5th Grade
3rd place: Jesse Samci 222 jump points
2nd place: Anistyn Rice 302 jump points
1st place - winner of teacher for a day - Cooper Hogan 538 jump points
Since the students met their goal, Mrs. Morrison and some of her staff will be racing on a canine obstacle course at the final assembly. Congratulations Titans!!
