Husker Softball Coach Rhonda Revelle to Headline Norris Foundation Banquet

An enthusiastic, high-character individual who has returned  the Husker softball program to its perch among the sport’s elite, Rhonda Revelle has coached Nebraska women’s softball since 1993 and led the team to perennial prominence with over 800 victories, nearly 20 All-Americans, 18 NCAA Tourney appearances, and three Women’s College World Series berths.

Revelle will be the featured banquet keynote speaker at the Norris Foundation’s annual banquet to be held at Yankee Hill Country Club on the evening of Friday, November 21st.  Social hour starts at 5:30 with dinner following. The Foundation’s Titans Banquet annually honors those who have made a great impact through service, volunteerism, and giving to the Norris District. This year will see Titans Awards and Hall of Fame honorees recognized, followed by Coach Revelle’s remarks to the crowd after a catered dinner.

All proceeds from the Norris Foundation banquet go to support scholarships and other Norris Foundation initiatives, including the SEED program to help sponsor innovative classroom instruction in the Norris District.

Revelle has won seven conference and regional Coach-of-the-Year awards during her Husker career, including 2013, and is sure to offer an memorably inspiring speech for the Titans.
