End of year an opportune time to make a donation to your Norris Foundation!

Thursday, December 28, 2017

The end of the calendar year provides an opportune time to make a tax-deductible difference through your donation to the Norris Education Foundation.

The Norris Education Foundation is the charitable entity whose mission is to support the programs and students of the Norris School District. Each year, the Foundation administers over $30,000 in scholarships to help Norris graduates pursue their post-secondary dreams, while also funding thousands of dollars in classroom-based mini grants of approximately $500 each that fund innovative teacher ideas that are outside the scope of the regular building budgets. This SEED grant program has helped teachers integrate robotics, 3-D printing, and a wide variety of technological innovations for Norris students over the years.

The Founation provides various levels of donor recognition to individuals and corporate sponsors, who are featured on our digital display flatscreens in the main hallway of Norris High School. The Foundation also recognizes excellence and service to the Norris School District through the annual November Titans Banquet featuring Titans Award winners who have demonstrated exemplary service to Norris.

Checks may be made out to the Norris Education Foundation and mailed to the Norris Foundation c/o NSD #160, 25211 South 68th Street, Firth, NE 68358.

The Norris Educational Foundation is a registered tax-exempt entity through the Nebraska Department of Revenue and IRS. Contributions to the charitable mission of the Foundation are generally deemed to be tax-deductible. For specific tax advice, you are advised to consult your attorney, accountant, or tax preparer.
