Tuesday, September 1, 2015

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBiS) is a program that Norris Elementary Schools has implemented to promote and maximize academic achievement and good behavior.  PBiS is a school wide strategy for helping all student achieve important social and learning goals by "catching" good behaviors such as sharing, kindness, being ready to learn, and respecting the school environment .  By detailing expected behavior and teaching students in a positive way, we provide a common language for everyone in our building.

Norris Elementary had a kick off assembly that taught us the school rules of being safe, responsible, and respectful along with having fun. Thanks to the high school band and cheerleaders for adding to our learning.
