Election Commissioner Reminds Norris School District Voters of Deadline to Return Special Election Ballots
Lincoln — Lancaster County Election Commissioner David Shively reminds Norris School District voters who have not returned their mail-in ballots for the November 14th Special Election that the ballots must be received in the Election Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 14th.
Shively suggests that voters mail their ballots no later than Friday, November 10th to ensure that they are received by the deadline. Ballots received after 5:00 p.m. on November 14th will not be counted.
Voters may drop their ballots off in person at the Election Office, which is located at 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln. The office is open week-days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 14th.
In addition, the Election Office has a ballot drop box located on the north side of the building which is available twenty-four hours a day.
