Marisa Mosiman did her personal best in the vault, having only vaulted a time or two last season. She also placed in the 400 and was the lead runner in the relay. We were quite pleased with the relay's performance and are excited about being able to put something together for the entire season. Other members of the relay team included Alix Bryant , who also ran well in the open 800, Hannah Wolzen, and Kelly DeBoer who ran well in the 400 and 800.Thrower Michaela Woodward started her season off with a 3rd place finish in the shot, doing a very nice job in that area.Holly Schurman started her season off on a good note in the long jump, but then injured her knee to put her out for the rest of the day's meet. We were pleased to see Mackie Allen's improvement in the hurdles as a Sophomore this season and hope that she can do well in the outdoor. Overall we were very pleased with the day's performances. It was a good starting off place for the girls this week, as we competed all of our athletes in the two meets that we competed . Results of the Southwest Meet are given in another article. The Norris Titans will be hosting the Crete/Norris Dual next week Tuesday the 27th and will be hosting the Titan Relays on Thursday the 29th.
