District Administers 2015 Technology Surveys for Tech Planning
The Norris school district is administering a spring technology survey. Students, parents – one per household – and teachers have been administered alternate forms of this survey. The spring, 2015 survey is a needs assessment designed to assist the district in technology planning.
Data from the survey will be instrumental in helping the district determine additional technology deployment needs and priorities.
Device deployment: the district currently has over 700 Chromebooks on mobile carts and nearly 300 iPads on additional mobile carts for student use. Over 2,100 devices daily connect to the Norris wireless network. Furthermore, the district has a pending E-rate application to expand wireless access points and network speed.
