We wanted to see what our athletes could do after a full week of practice and no meet, so getting to have this meet was really necessary for us, especially as we were also trying to prepare for the Titan Relays. It was good to see what the girls could do in various events in a meet. Senior Ashley Weyers ran an especially good meet, her strength and endurance this season is very impressive, we hope to see her have lots of success on the track. We had several Freshmen and Sophomore athletes who also ran well at this meet, Sophia Sonnenberg, Kelly DeBoer and Amber Weyers in the middle/ long distance races and Hannah Blythe, Hannah Olsen and Dani Pelini in the sprints. We were very pleased with the overall performances.
