The Norris High School Industrial Technology (IT) Dept will host a meeting at the High School, Tuesday, October 24th at 7:00 pm in the West Industrial Technology classroom. You can enter the school through the door located to the south of the big garage doors on the west side of the high school. Sub sandwiches, chips, and drinks will be served.

Topics to discuss will range from what the department is currently doing, what equipment the department needs to keep up with the changing times and how the public can be involved. Emphasis will include how to encourage students to pursue a rewarding career in the many fields that make up the construction industry. With the boom of houses being built in the surrounding communities the Norris IT Department has identified the construction industry as one of the major employers in the area and would like to help fill some of the shortage in skilled laborers.  A tour of the IT Department will be included.
