INVENTORS WANTED! Camp Invention® will be back at Norris Elementary School again this summer! We are looking for new inventors as well as returning veterans. We have 5 new classes that will stretch your creativity and empower your mind! Power’d™ - Learn about alternative sources of energy and build your own robotic pet.Hatched™ - Help rebuild a virtual world and become an entrepreneur in the avatar marketplace.SMArt: Science, Math & Art™ - Discover exciting and fun math concepts such as tessalations and fractals.I Can Invent III™ - Take apart a broken machine and see what’s inside. Younger children will create fantasy inventions, while older groups will work on a team Rube Goldberg challenge that creates a "mini-explosion".Global Games™ - Explore games from ancient cultures from around the world and create your own modern versions to play!This national, non-profit science and creativity enrichment program is offered by Norris Public Schools in collaboration with the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation® and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.Camp will be held on June 21st – 25th from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. It will be presented by local teachers for girls and boys currently in grades K-5.
