The Norris Board approved the 2015-16 academic year calendar at the January 2015 meeting.

Key calendar items:

• All teachers report August 13th.

• First student day Tuesday, August 18th. Both terms begin with a four-day student week preceded by a staff day.

• Parent Teacher Conference and Open House dates are listed on calendar but will remain tentative until activities calendar (NSAA) is determined in summer, 2015.)

• Fall break (Students): Friday, October 16th - Monday, October 19th.

• Semester 1 last student day is Tuesday, December 22nd.

• Four cancellation days built in; will be taken off end of year if unused. Semester 2 last student day is May 25 if all (four) cancellation dates have been used.

• Winter break (Students): Wednesday, December 23rd through Monday, January 4th.

• Spring break: Thursday, March 24th through Monday, March 28th.

• Graduation: Sunday, May 15th.
