In a very tough B2 district the Norris Grapplers came out with five state qualifiers. They include 4th place finisher Dawson Dorn at 220 pounds. Third place finishers Dylan Meyer 195 pounds, Tyler Nelson 152, and Nouredin Nouili 285 pounds. Senior Zach Serna was the lone district champion for the Titans at 170 pounds. "I am very happy and proud of Zach, district championships are hard to come by," Coach Cullison said. Also, the future is looking bright for the team. Meyer and Nelson are two underclassmen that made the tournament and two freshmen were in the "Heartbreak Round" to get to the state tournament. Cooper Spaulding at 138 and Chase Eggleston were one match away from making the big dance.The State tournmant starts Thursday at 4:00.
