The Norris Junior High and High School Trap Teams competed in the Cornhusker State Trapshoot on May 2, 3, 4, in Doniphan, Nebraska.
The high school squad of Chloe Bowman, Julia Stephenson, Haley York, Seanna Woodward and Anastasia Davis won the 2019 Ladies 16 Yard Championship.
The high school males squad of Nathen Stertz, Corbin Fix, Alex Hunter, Bryce McGill and Sean Kile received 3rd Place Handicap Team and 3rd Place High Overall Team.
Individual awards were also earned by Bryce McGill for 3rd Place Handicap Individual and 6th Place High Overall.
Alex Hunter earned 5th Place 23 Yard Handicap.
Sean Kile earned 8th Place 24 Yard Handicap.
The junior high squad of Lilly Ballard, Sara Malcolm, Emma Holloway, Emily Creps and Hailley Finkner earned 3rd Place Ladies Team.
Junior high 4th Place Males Team went to AJ Glinsmann, Mason Pillard, Carson Alexander, Zach Hennecke and Gavin Kuck
AJ Glinsmann also placed 15th out of all Junior High Males in Nebraska.
Also at the State Trapshoot, Senior Jacob Chipps was awarded the Cole Anderson Memorial Scholarship.
