Norris School District is now hiring 1:1 special education substitute paraprofessionals.  Positions will be working with students in grades K-12 who have developmental disabilities. Hours will follow the student hours and school schedule.  If interested please apply in person at the Superintendent's Office

Norris Halts The Bluejays 7-4

Norris played their 2019 home opener against the Bluejays of Seward High School on Thursday, September 5th and won 7-4.  Norris scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning with singles by Delaney White and Jerica German but Seward answered with 2 of their own to tie the game 2-2 after 3 innings.  NHS regained the lead in the 3rd with 2 scores, highlighted by Grace Dowding's triple and Molly VanderHamm's double. Again the Bluejays tied the contest in the 4th with 2 more runs.  Norris broke the 4-4 tie in the bottom of the frame when Maddy Collier led off the inning with a triple and scored on Izzy Havel's SAC fly.  Winning pitcher Carli Kohout shut out Seward the rest of the way while recording 6 strikeouts.  Olivia Ozenbaugh smashed  a 2-run homer in the 5th inning to pad the Titan lead and run the final score to 7-4.
