In game 2 of the LPS tournament, Norris played the Class A Grand Island Islanders and came away with an 8-0 win.  The Norris offense found the fences 3 times in the game,  with all 3 home runs coming in the 6-run second inning.  Molly VanderHamm started the scoring with a 2 RBI blast, then came Olivia Ozenbaugh's solo homer, which was followed up by Maddy Collier's  3-run long ball.  Pitcher Carli Kohout claimed the win for NHS, throwing a shutout at GI in the 5 inning run-rule shortened game.  She also contributed a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate.  Grace Dowding added 2 singles to the 11 hit offensive production.
