The pool #5 championship of the LPS softball tourney was on the line when game 3 matched the 2 undefeated teams of their pool group, Norris and Norfolk.  The Class A Norfolk Panthers would have ace pitcher and D-2 recruit Sydney Radar on the mound.  The Titans countered with Alexis Wiggins and the anticipated pitchers dual did not disappoint. NHS took an early 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning on Carli Kohout's solo home run.  Wiggins kept the Panthers at bay until a home run tied the score at 1-1 in the bottom of the 5th frame.  The Norfolk lead was short-lived as Kohout's 2nd round tripper of the game gave Norris a 2-1 advantage in the 6th inning.  Wiggins retired the side in the bottom of the inning to preserve the Titan victory, as the 90-minute time limit expired. The Titans are now 6-2 in the young 2019 season.
