The Norris Titan Softball team travelled to Hastings on Monday, August 20 to compete in a double dual with Lexington, McCook, and Beatrice High Schools.  The Lady Titans were matched with the Lexington Minutemaids and the McCook Lady Bison.  In game one, the Titans bested Lexington 10-0 in a 4 inning contest shortened by the run rule.  Junior pitcher Michaela Woodward fired a no-hitter for Norris while striking out 6 Lex batters.  Offensively, the Titans were paced by the hot bat of Jenna Gruber who was 3 for 3 and drove in 2 runs.  Woodward helped her own cause with 2 extra base hits-a double and a triple.  Makenna Tracy scored 3 runs for Norris.
