Norris struggles to find the end-zone in 9-20 loss to Gretna

Ryan Bellinghausen breaks his own school record kicking a 45 yard field goal (was 42yards)

We felt we did enough good things to win the game, but made just enough mistakes to not allow us to win.  Our kids played with great effort.  Just had a couple breaks did not go our way.

We tell the kids after a win that "it is never as good as you think it is"....and the same holds true after a loss "it is never as bad as it seems"

After our breakfast and film session sat. the kids could see that our minor break downs in technique, coverage, etc. are all fixable...we have the athletes, size, speed and strength to compete with everyone we play.  Our major goal is to improve in all areas in short fashion.

We love our kids...they work and play hard for our team....we will continue to have a great season....Class B is and always will be very even and a tough league to play in....each and every week we need to make sure we are on top of our game as players and coaches...that in and of itself is why coaching and playing this sport is so much fun!!

We will bounce back and play great football this coming friday vs. columbus at home for homecoming.
