The Titan Girls Tennis team competed in the Waverly Invite on Thurs, May 9th at Woods Tennis Center in Lincoln.  The field of 8 teams included, York, Beatrice, Waverly, Columbus, Lincoln Christian, Blair, Elkhorn and Norris.  Each doubles team and singles played 3 pool matches then played a crossover match.  Norris played York, Beatrice and Waverly in their pool.

#1 Doubles Izzy and Georgia Havel posted a 2-2 record to take 4th.

#2 Doubles Anastasia Krueger and Maddie Starr posted a 3-1 record, beating Waverly, Beatrice, and York before falling to Lincoln Christian in the Championship.  They took 2nd and silver.

#1 Singles Crystal Craft beat Waverly, Beatrice and York, then met Columbus in Championship.  She took 2nd and the silver.

#2 Singles Taylor Ronne also bested Waverly, Beatrice and York, meeting Columbus in the finals.  She took 2nd and the silver.

Norris Team took 2nd place overall as a team in a close contest by 1/2 point.

The girls head to State Competition next Thurs, May 16th at Woods Center in Lincoln.
