The Norris Girls Basketball team hosted Elkhorn South on Friday and lost on a driving layup at the buzzer 48 – 46. Throughout the first half Norris had the game in hand leading 28 – 16 at halftime. It was after half time that Norris was not able to match Elkhorn South on offense. In the third quarter Elkhorn South closed the game but Norris still led going into the fourth quarter 39 – 28. In the fourth quarter Elkhorn South outscored Norris 20 – 7 and put them in a position for the win at the buzzer. Norris drops to 4 – 1 in EMC regular conference play and 7 – 3 for the regular season.
