The MSXC team had a quick turn around from the Waverly Invite on Friday to be ready to compete in the Crete Invite on Tuesday.  Both the girls and boys team ran extremely hard on the Doane University XC course on a very tough day to compete.  The team had to overcome some adversity in the way of sickness and injury to fight their way to the team titles.  The girls were able to take advantage of their team depth to narrowly take the the team championship over a very good Seward team.  The boys team was able to get to the front of the pack early and maintain their lead throughout the race in winning the boys team championship.
