NORRIS SWEEPS CENTENNIAL AND CRETE IN SOFTBALL TRIANGULAR

The Norris Softball Team hosted Crete and Centennial high schools on Tuesday, August 21 at Norris Park.  The Lady Titans opened the triangular with the Centennial  and blanked the Lady Broncos  10-0 in a game shortened to 4 innings by the mercy rule.  Senior Jenna Gruber earned the victory in the circle for Norris by throwing an impressive 2 hitter.  The Titans were led at the plate by Brittany Funk and Michaela Woodward with 2 hits apiece.
