On Thursday, April 20th - the Norris Titans defeated the Crete Cardinals 3-2 in OT. This was the regular season-finale for the Titans. The game was a battle for both teams and had many momentum changes throughout the game.

The Titans scored first on a Jack Lee header from Avery Yendra in the 26th minute of the game. The Titans would hold that lead into halftime.

Crete came out and scored on a brilliant goal from 25 yards out to tie the score less than 2 minutes into the second half. The Titans responded with a goal from Ben Hohensee, off of a Jack Lee corner ten minutes later to give the lead back to the Titans. The Cardinals scored with 9 minutes left in regulation on a PK after a Norris foul inside the box.

In extra time, Jack Lee scored in the first OT to give the Titans the lead for good. The Cardinals mustered a few attacks, but the Titan defense preserved the win.

The Titans travel to Blair on Tuesday to start EMC Tournament play - 7:00PM at Krantz Field at Blair High School.
