The Norris Titans defeated the Lincoln Pius X Thunderbolts 2-1 on Saturday at Aldrich Field. The Titans struck first on a Josh Funk chip-shot goal. The Titans would take that 1-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Pius scored off of a free-kick and tied the game up at one apiece. Both teams battled each other for the remainder of the second half. With 4 minutes left, Tanner Wood converted a Penalty Kick to give the Titans a 2-1 lead. The Titan defense hunkered down and preserved a hard fought victory.
