We started off really quick by getting a few stops on the defensive end and then scoring on a few easy baskets. Unfortunately we struggled to handle some passes and that led to Blair getting some easy transition baskets to take the lead. The guys continued to execute on the offensive end and get some defensive stops but we could not string together possessions back to back. Going into the half down 6 we knew we were still in good position. The guys knew what they needed to do in the 2nd half to pull ahead. As they came out it went back and forth. The guys struggled from behind the arc only shooting 1-7, but they were able to get to the line and knock down some free throws. Blair increased the lead but Kolton Meyer took a charge to help keep it around 11. The guys continued to share the basketball but could not continue to get stops. They worked hard all game long and are making great strides in games and practices. We are headed in the right direction.
