The night after a strong win over Waverly, Norris took on Beatrice at home and came up short losing 46-36. In the first quarter Norris outscored Beatrice 12-9 using aggressive play on offense to help get the lead. In the second quarter each team scored 14 points and Norris led at halftime 26-23. In the second half Beatrice really came alive offensively outscoring Norris in the third quarter 12 – 4 and in the final quarter 11 – 6 for the win. With the loss Norris drops to 7-2 for the season and will host Elkhorn South Friday night and Crete Saturday afternoon.
