The Norris Titans took Saturday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 10-9 walk-off victory by Cade Argo to defeat Plattsmouth. The game was tied at nine with Norris batting in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored one run for the team. The Titans built a six-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Plattsmouth's charge. The Blue Devils scored six runs in the failed comeback on a single by Adam Eggert, a single by Oscar Hinton, a double by Aaronn Aho, a groundout by Jack Glup, a single by Nathan Konkler, and another single. Norris took an early lead in the second inning. They tallied three runs in the second inning. Joel Benes and Cade Argo each had RBIs in the big inning. Colbey Behrends earned the win for the team. Behrends threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen to be the pitcher of record. Eggert was on the pitcher's mound for Plattsmouth. He went five and a third innings, allowing nine runs on 12 hits and striking out five. Konkler threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Bryson Schultz started the game for Norris Titans Varsity. He lasted six innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out five Norris racked up 13 hits in the game. Argo, Connor Price, and Joe Osborn each had three hits on the day for the Titans. Plattsmouth totaled 11 hits in the game. Eggert and Konkler all managed multiple hits for Plattsmouth.
